Frustration – TBV #1

Welcome to the first Busy Vignette, a new style of blog post I want to do going forward. It’s just a quick peak into my mind, and day. These wont be quite as formatted, edited, iterated upon, and will lack media for the most part. This is just a small burst format for me to, well, blurb upon, or talk about musings. There is no release schedule, and will generally lack structure. Think long form Facebook post. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

I woke up today, and called to my Amazon Echo, “Alexa, start my day!”- she does her usual, and I get my flash briefing (news), and that’s that. What’s frustrating to me is I can’t set the damn thing up to read the “Question of the day” as part of my morning routine.

I went to get to my car this morning, and the windshield, again, was froze over. So I sat there, in silence, wondering why on Earth mother nature wants to work against me – she knows that just yesterday it was colder and my windshield was fine!

Work is business as usual, and I honestly can’t wait to get home to play Guild Wars 2, and level my Mage in World of Warcraft a little bit. Battle for Azeroth has been a horrible experience so far, and my raiding guild is small – so we’ve been stuck on Heroic Zul what feels like forever, constantly wiping to what appears to be low DPS, but is probably honestly more towards mechanics.

Guild Wars 2 this time has been a treat. I am leveling a Revenant, which seems really fun, but feels like jack of all trades:

Revenant
Heavily armored and equipped with the otherworldly powers of the Mists, revenants channel Tyria’s legends to slaughter foes, unleash chaos on the battlefield, and support their allies. This profession is exclusive to Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns™ and Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire™.

The description for Revenant from the Guild Wars 2 Website.

Overall I’ve been overencumbered by gaming’s choices. I will honestly waste too much time trying to motivate myself to game, anyone else experience this? There has to be a name for it.
